Speaker Bio Courtney Barnes is a Partner at Feldman Legal Advisors PLLC where she specializes in advising clients on regulatory compliance, risk management, and strategic operational matters relating to the production and distribution of highly regulated compounds in emerging industries. Her legal expertise includes providing bespoke regulatory compliance guidance, including licensing, distribution, and advertising strategy to consumer-packaged goods (CPG) manufacturers, retailers, and ancillary service providers. She is licensed to practice law in California, Colorado, and Texas. In addition to her legal practice, Courtney provides a variety of advisory services to the psychedelics ecosystem. She serves as General Counsel for Heroic Hearts Project Inc., and is an advisory board member of multiple advocacy organizations. Courtney was a lead drafter of Denver’s Psilocybin Decriminalization Initiative (the nation’s first successful voter-initiated psychedelic policy reform ordinance) and has extensive experience drafting state and local policy relating to the regulation of cannabis and psychedelics.
