About the event
For years, Adrian Grenier was one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, aka Vincent Chase from HBO’s mega-hit show "Entourage." He had it all: fame, money, success, women, and influence. The world was his proverbial oyster. But then he started to look inward, wondering if he was the person he actually wanted to be –– and see –– when he looked in the mirror. And so he left LA to pursue a different sort of life … in nature and in Texas. He began what some might call the “dark night of the soul,” a spiritual journey of turning inward, digging deep, and witnessing the parts of himself he’d unconsciously hidden for years. He reckoned with unprocessed childhood trauma, confronted his shadow, reconnected with nature, and found alternative tools to heal his mind and body and rediscover his truest self.
Adrian now lives with his wife on a farm outside of Austin, where they practice permaculture and regenerative farming techniques and have plans to create a wildlife sanctuary. He co-founded DuContra Ventures, an impact investment fund that aims to create yield beyond money, and he and his team recently launched Earth Speed Media, a lifestyle platform that celebrates the power of community, sustainability, and self-reliance. He’s also a UN Environment Programme Goodwill Ambassador and co-founder of the Lonely Whale, an organization dedicated to reducing plastic use and saving the world’s oceans.
Adrian is best known for his starring role in the HBO series "Entourage." He appeared in films such as "Drive Me Crazy" and "The Devil Wears Prada" and in the Netflix series "Clickbait." He also executive produced the documentary "How to Make Money and Sell Drugs," a satirical but scorching look at drug policy and the drug trade.
