The Stoned Ape Show with Stuart Preston (Plano)

Come join your Dallas/Plano community to hear a one-of-a-kind comedian who will make you laugh, cry, learn, and forgive. In this straight-talk show, Stuart Preston will help you see drugs as medicine as he shares his personal story of grief, depression, and transformation. The Stoned Ape Show is about an experience as a Stoned Ape, enlightened by the entheogenic powers of psychedelics. When Preston lost his son, he set out to find himself on a psychedelic journey to heal and make sense of his loss. The performance, which defies categorization, will be followed by a Q&A session.

About the Performer:

A lovable middle-aged grump who doesn't quite have it all figured out yet, Stuart Preston has been called an "angry hippie."  Preston has performed on many stages, from the Kennedy Center to the Tempe Center for the Arts and others, including the Tempe Improv, the House of Comedy, Off the Cuff, Comedy Off Main Street, ImprovMANIA and the Scottsdale Comedy Spot.

Doors open up at 6:30pm with open seating, the theater will have an open bar with snacks and drinks available for purchase.  Show will start at 7pm and go to 9pm with a Q&A period at the end of the show.

A limited number of Early Bird Tickets are available for $25 until Sunday, August 27th.
