Reflections from MAPS Psychedelic Science 2023 (Dallas)

Beat the Texas summer heat and come join us in a cool, refreshing venue to learn how psychedelics can improve the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of your divine being. This month’s meeting will be a recap and “lessons learned” from the world’s largest psychedelic conference, the "MAPS Psychedelic Science” of 2023 held in Denver this June. Come and learn, discuss, and commune with people seeking wholeness in their everyday lives. This will be an interactive discussion between our group. We will discuss some of the following ideas:

• Knowledge lost and suppressed through state-imposed religion and prohibition is being relearned and reintegrated into a wellness lifestyle
• Clinical trial results including wellness and recovery for PTS, anxiety, depression, pain relief, dementia, and more
• Primary differences and results between clinical trials of MDMA and psilocybin
• Harm reduction best practices
• The importance of therapy and integration with psychedelic experiences, beyond set and setting
• Neuroplasticity health benefits and clinical trials demonstrating length of health gains with macro- vs microdose
• Psychedelics and Sexuality
• Main “take aways” from the conference to apply to everyday life
