About the event

We're taking our meetings in Houston up a notch with special guest speakers! This class, led by PsyT's very own Elizabeth J.O., will serve as an entry point for those new to the wonderful world of psychedelics. Come learn how a harm reduction mindset can reduce some of the inherent risks associated with psychedelic substances. We will explore the changing landscape of legalization and decriminalization and also look at how to create a psychedelic gameplan. 

Topic will include:

Harm Reduction

Decriminalization vs legalization

Set and setting

Benefit maximization

Time will be provided to answer your burning psychedelic questions. While this class is geared towards beginners, all are welcome as there's plenty to learn!

About the speaker:

Elizabeth J.O. is a Holistic Dietitian Nutritionist and Change Coach with 12 years of clinical experience. Since graduating from Bastyr University, she has studied: MHFA, human behavior, psychology, yoga, flow states, and mindfulness-based therapies. In her free time, she offers peer support in online forums and volunteers at festivals providing psychedelic harm reduction with N.E.S.T, Zendo Project, Fireside Project, RestPit, and Sanctuary. She has authored Breaking Emotional Addiction: Neurohacking BPD with Ibogaine, detailing her personal healing journey. Elizabeth is passionate about reducing barriers to finding compassionate support for processing non-ordinary states of consciousness. She is a founder and integration coach at Altered States Integration and sits on the board for PsyT.
