About the event
Come hear veteran Jason Howland discuss the potential of psychedelic medicine and other alternative modalities to help heal trauma and PTS in the veteran community. Jason will discuss their experience in dealing with trauma with the use of psychedelics, therapy, and other alternative medicines. The suicide rate for veterans is staggering (between 16 and 44 veterans a day) and their community needs our help! If you are a veteran, veteran family member, or want to learn and meet others from the community, this is a great meeting to come and be a part of.
Jason Howland, MHR, is a United States Air Force combat veteran who retired in 2019 after 20 years of service. Jason holds a Master's degree in Human Relations, and is certified as a trauma-informed yoga and meditation instructor, a Four Lenses facilitator, and a NETA personal fitness coach. Jason currently serves as a subject matter expert and voting member on a committee delegating Congressional Appropriated Funds for projects that have the potential to improve the health and well-being of service members and veterans who suffer from traumatic brain injury and/or psychological health issues. He is passionate about enhancing human performance and wellness through holistic and evidence-based approaches.
