About the event
Saddle up for a Bicycle Day Adventure – Cheers to 86 years! Join the Houston Psychedelic Society on a bayou bike ride filled with laughter and community as we honor the whimsy of LSD's invention. The first "Bicycle Day" was April 19, 1943, when Swiss chemist Dr. Albert Hofmann took that famous bicycle ride home after heavily dosing himself with LSD in the lab, becoming the first person (in modern day) to intentionally experience its effects. No LSD or other psychoactive compounds will be consumed or distributed at this event, so please come high on life.
Bring a bike/skates or prepared to rent one to roll with us into the sunset. Don't forget water!
