From Wounds To Wisdom: A Veterans Day Celebration with a Featured Screening of In Waves and War
In Waves and War, a 2024 documentary directed by Jon Shenk and Bonni Cohen, examines psychedelic-assisted therapies for PTSD in retired Navy SEALs. The film follows Marcus Capone, DJ Shipley, Matty Roberts, and Marcus's wife, Amber Capone, a co-founder of Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions. It features interviews, animated psychedelic sequences, and research from Stanford's Brain Stimulation Lab. The documentary premiered at the Telluride Film Festival in August 2024.
