Bicycle Day Park Potluck (Austin)

Come celebrate psychedelic history with the Austin Psychedelic Society! Join us for an evening of shared community, connection, nature, and nourishment. The first "Bicycle Day" was April 19, 1943, when Swiss chemist Dr. Albert Hofmann took that famous bicycle ride home after heavily dosing himself with LSD in the lab, becoming the first person (in modern day) to intentionally experience its effects. No LSD or other psychoactive compounds will be consumed or distributed bc at this event, so please come high on life and bring a light bite or non-alcoholic beverage (no glass please) to share. There will be plenty of tables, but feel free to bring a blanket if you wish to chill on the grass. You're welcome to support the mission of PsyTexas in lieu of bringing a food or drink item. Monetary contributions help us host more rad events and pay for location fees, and we're always grateful for your support. Location provided upon registration. Come with an open mind and heart, be ready to meet some new friends, and please, don't be sketchy. Arrive via bike ... if you like!
